Did anyone watch the amateur videos of those unfortunate victims of the tsunami back in 2004? The wonder and awe of the tide receding and then the horrific shock of complete terror when the tide came back and just did not stop? Finally recognizing that the early changes that they saw on the beach that day was going to be the end of their world as they knew it. Why did they not understand the warning signs?
Karl Marx proclaims Socialism to be the transitional stage between Capitalism and Communism, something he claims to be inevitable. A great essay on Socialism that I recently read (http://hubpages.com/hub/Define-Socialism) has a short summary of the immediate goals of Socialism: Free education; loose voting regulations; a progressive income tax to redistribute wealth from the rich to the poor; abolishment of private property; nationalization of banking and transportation; and mandatory volunteer service for all citizens. You literally would have to be delusional not to see the similarities to the liberal Progressive economic and social justice movements here in America to that of Marx’s Socialism. The Health Care Bill is part of that philosophy. This steady infection of America with the Progressive - Socialist philosophies has being growing for over 100 years.
The tide is going out America. It is time to wake up! Understand the warning from our 3rd American President Thomas Jefferson, “Government big enough to supply everything you need is big enough to take everything you have…The course of history shows that as a government grows, liberty decreases.” It is time to demand a shot of antibiotics consisting of freedom, liberty and limited government! Do we really want to bet our future and the future of our posterity on a philosophy advocated by Karl Marx?
